Highlands House was established in May 2013. The property, once a family home, still has a homely feel to it, though now coupled with a high level of professionalism and luxury.
As a family run business, our priority is to ensure that we provide the best possible service to our guests. It matters greatly to us that each and every guest feels happy and comfortable during their stay and that they are warmly welcomed back as friends when they return. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and will always endeavour to assist with any additional or special requests that a guest might have.
At Highlands House, we are deeply committed to sustainability. Our entire facility is off-grid, powered by solar energy, ensuring a minimal environmental footprint. We also utilize a grey water recycling system to efficiently water and maintain our beautiful gardens. By embracing these eco-friendly practices, we aim to offer our guests a luxurious experience that respects and preserves the natural beauty of our surroundings.
Our guest lodge features 36 tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms, including 6 Executive Suites, 12 Suites, and 18 Executive Rooms, all set within tranquil, beautifully landscaped gardens. For longer stays, we offer two one-bedroom and one two-bedroom studio apartments, each self-contained and private, providing a luxurious and comfortable experience. Centrally located and in close proximity to the CBD, Highlands House offers secure, elegant, and convenient accommodation for all our guests.
